some find it well to pounce on others at the slightest sign of happiness. it’s true that others barely know what happiness is, but for the time being, if you disgrace what love and joy the world has no matter where it is concentrated, you’re just reducing it even more. as long as what they’re doing is moral, leave them be. not everyone who smiles is blind to the tears of the less fortunate. it is human to feel happy once in a while. instead of guilt-tripping them, encourage them to help. if that’s what you are doing.
